18 Piece Australian Themed Matching Puzzles

18 pieces - approx. 11.5 x 5.5cm

2 yrs +

These simple two-piece puzzles feature beautiful vibrant images of Australian animals, as well as their name.  They are a great introduction for young children to a variety of animals, some of which they might already be familiar with, as they can be found in or around our neighborhoods and towns.

Also available in:

Sea Life - a collection of Sea Life creatures. They include a Sea Snake, Parrot Fish, Mud Crab, Bottle Nose Dolphin, Weedy Sea Dragon, Sea Slug, Grey Nurse Shark, Hump Back Whale, and Blue Spotted Sting Ray.

Creepy Crawlies - a collection of Australian animals from deserts, rivers, rainforests, and bushland.  They include a green tree frog, yabby, blue tongue lizard, brown snake, centipede, barking gecko, scorpion, redback spider, and long neck turtle.

Transport - a collection of transport images. They include an army truck, police car, fire truck, motorbike, grader, dump truck, and forklift.

Take Flight – a collection of birds.  Inspired by Tracey from KU Highfields.  They include a corella, rainbow lorikeet, black cockatoo, rosella, galah, pelican, kookaburra, magpie, and a cockatoo.

Garden Bugs - a collection of bugs you will find in your garden. They include a blue butterfly, lady beetle, fly, grasshopper, honey bee, praying mantis, orb spider, caterpillar, and cicada.

Every piece of wood used is slightly different in color, texture, and grain. The naturally occurring imperfections seen in the timber (e.g., knots, color changes, etc.) cannot be removed. These pieces of timber are cut on an engraver and will have slight burn marks on the edges on some sides.
